Harit Trivedi
Systems architect & hardware design engineer · Bengaluru, IN
I design battery, power-electronics, and embedded systems for drones, defence platforms, and EV infrastructure. Six years across MIL-STD VTOL battery packs, 45 kWh DC fast chargers, motor-control integration, and BMS architecture for high-discharge platforms.
Now running WhatsNext Systems — an independent lab for drone-grade comms, power, and perception infrastructure.
Selected work
MIL-STD VTOL battery pack
Designed and built a military-standard battery pack for a Nifty-50 company’s VTOL platform. Aerospace and defence-grade compliance; modular for varied mission profiles.
Trakr — battery warehouse management for UAVs
Productionised a wireless monitoring and management system for compact UAV battery packs (6S and below). Over 2,000 units shipped. Contributes more than 10% of the company’s annual revenue.
45 kWh DC fast charger — system architecture
Owned end-to-end system architecture. GB/T plus in-house fast-charging protocol stack. SoC estimation logic and multi-C-rate charging profiles. Validation cycles converted into design closures and field-reliability gains.
Micromobility drivetrain — filed patent
Drivetrain architecture, battery and charging integration, motor controller control-strategy inputs. Resulting innovation filed as patent 202241046561.
Drone-grade infrastructure IP
StrobeTag — active strobe marker for high-speed drone landings (provisional patent filed). OpenWing HAT — sub-GHz long-range communications HAT for Raspberry Pi. Phone-as-a-Link — BVLOS communications via mobile phone + Raspberry Pi.
